"I learned a lot about how to structure my contents and the navigation above all. The part about the taxonomy made me aware about the unsuspected risks a bad taxonomy could lead to."
Liozon Kovia, iMak and My Mini Factory
"This course is about everything you go back and forth about when organizing your content. Great concrete ways to make decisions about categorizing and grouping information for your users. I want to share this with stakeholders in my organization."
Lauralee Haefner, University of Rochester Medical Center — Pediatrics
"Great class! As a senior designer with a traditional graphic design background, I came into UX without any formal training or education in UX. This class was perfect for me. All the info was valuable and relevant, and the class was the just the right amount of a learning challenge."
Jennifer Day, Navigating Cancer, Seattle
"Take this course if you want to feel even more confident in how you structure your experiences! I've made plenty of IA's before, but I learned so much and suddenly what I've made in the past feels so minimal and juvenile. I'm excited to work on my next IA!"
Josh Walz, ZoCo Design, Columbus, USA

"Clearly presented cross-section of useful, timely and relevant info that provides an excellent foundation for thinking about a site structure."
Denise Popovic, Royal Australasian College of Physicans
"Good UX isn't just about visual design--what's happening behind the scenes is just as important. Learning about IA, taxonomies, and the systems that make a site or product work is vital for any designer! I walked away with not only a thorough understanding of IA, but also how to run tests and parse the results. And I came away equipped with rationale to convince (or dissuade!) stakeholders. Highly recommend!"
Sarah Mohs, Intuit, Minneapolis, MN, USA
"I would highly recommend this course to anyone who feels like they are weak in IA. This course is phenomenal for mid and senior level UX folks. I highly recommend it since the course content is focused on the details of the IA."
Visalam Vasanth, Austin, TX
"Anyone looking to start out in UX Design should take this course. Informational Architecture is one of the most important aspects of UX design, and can be one of the most confusing. I would consider it a "must have" an any UXers collection of knowledge. I immediately started looking at how I organized sites I'd already done, and thinking about them in a new way. The course is engaging and seamlessly executed to give you tools and advice to put into practice immediately."
Yolande Sukal, Freelance Senior Visual Designer, San Luis Obispo, CA USA
"Absolutely yes. It is suitable both for those who already have a basic knowledge of the subject and for beginners..."

"If you have wondered where else is IA reflected other than website navigations, if you had hard time making IA design decisions, or not knowing how to interpret testing results, this workshop will be very helpful. The instructor has in-depth knowledge in IA and hands-on IA experience in various industries. However, the course delivery is without academic jargons and easy to consume. Besides, the instructor is very encouraging with questions from the audience."

"I think IA is an underexposed topic within UX. The course is often seen as dull and boring, but the teacher knows how to take you along in the world of information architecture in a passionate way. The practical exercises were very useful and gave you enough tools to get started quickly."
Jeroen Straatman, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
"Page provided an informative and fun IA course! It was suitable for beginners to advanced professionals who have worked with IA or will be working with IA."
Pauline Amell Nash, Seattle Public Schools
"This course provided me sufficient knowledge and confidence to analyze IA data from card sorting, content to label audits. What really helped was Page's ability to explain intimidating concepts really well and his guidance on how to properly interpret reports (like dendograms and similarity matrix) to inform how to structure IA ."
"For people who aren't familiar with an information architecture, this is a very engaging survey of the topic — it's quite comprehensive and very clear, particularly given that information architecture is one of the more complicated challenges for design, analysis, and general understanding — there's math, epistemology, design, linguistics, etc., etc. This is not an easy topic to present in a survey intro and I think this one-day overview is a goods tart. I've worked with computational linguistics researchers for years so I was familiar with a number of the topics, but the application to design gave me some good tips and tricks that I'd not thought of. Anyone who's not had exposure to information architectures would benefit from this class, although — as I indicated above — some of the elicitation and evaluation methods could be a bit tricky for quantitative novices to understand. Also, the class was quite funny, full of examples that were both illustrative and amusing, which kept the participants engaged. All in all, nicely done."
Laura McNamara, Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM
"I absolutely loved this course! Page passionately talks about this topic and got me really excited to analyse and improve all of my projects and dig deeper."
Kerstin Manninger, trigo GmbH, Vienna, Austria
"This course really helped to solidify my understanding of Information Architecture, and feel more confident in the terminology, when to use certain artifacts etc, compared to when I've tried to piece together the knowledge via articles and books. Page was really great at explaining the different concepts in depth, and the case studies/examples shown helped to show the "why" behind any reasoning. It would've been great if there was time for 1 or 2 more breaks (even if just for 5 minutes). As the information is very dense, it was difficult to take it all in at once, especially towards the end of the days."
Dominique M, London, UK
"The Information Architecture course made me re-think my approach to designing websites ensuring that the content is structured in such a way as to maximise findability and simplifying the experience for all users."
David Fenner, IBM, London, UK

"I would highly recommend it to all of my UX/UI peers. Many practitioners, such as myself, have transited into UX work from graphic design and naturally learned all there is about it on the job. At some point, I felt I was reaching a glass ceiling. With the help of this course, I could evaluate my skills around architecture, see where I am now and where I can do with an improvement. I also learned about techniques and methods to evaluate architecture in current projects - that I can apply right away. It has been an amazing course."
