The main UX Certification investments include the following:

• Time spent in live training courses: 30 hours for the UX Certificate or 90 hours for the UX Master Certificate.
• Time spent taking exams online at your convenience. Exams require approximately 30 minutes each, which works out to
  • 2.5 hours for the 5 exams required to achieve UX Certification, and
  • 7.5 hours for the 15 exams required to achieve UX Master Certification.
• The costs for training courses, which are the same as standard UX Conference pricing; see below for estimated costs.
• An administrative fee of $80 USD per exam plus applicable taxes. Exam administrative fees can be paid when registering for the UX Conference or after attending a course. (Fees paid prior to or during the UX Conference are subject to the same refund policy as tuition. Exam fees paid after the UX Conference are non-refundable.)

UX Certification and Master Certification Pricing at Virtual UX Conferences

The cost of becoming UX certified includes:

• Course tuition for 5 NN/g courses. Exact tuition costs will vary depending on how far in advance you register, and how many courses you attend in the same UX Conference. For example, tuition for 5 courses can vary between $3200 USD to $6000 USD depending on whether you register early for all courses the same UX Conference, or register separately for each course at regular registration rates. Refer to the UX conference you plan to attend for exact prices and pricing deadlines.

• Exam fees of $80 USD per exam. You will need to take 5 exams to earn a UX Certificate ($400 USD total) or 15 exams to earn a UX Master Certificate ($1200 USD total).
